Hi my name is Ruby and I am a sweet, spunky, and athletic rescued Australian Cattle Dog. Sometimes it takes me a little bit to warm up to new people and I can be skittish and shy when you first meet me. Food always helps! However, when I do warm up to you, I love cuddles and affection. I am also intelligent, very food motivative, and athletic...so sometimes I get myself into mischief. I absolutely love my sister, Pearl, and I'm usually not far from her.

| Special Instructions | Ruby is very food motivated and has been known to get into food even when it is "dog proofed". She is also an Australian Cattle Dog which means she is a working dog. Ruby likes to herd things like animals and people. Sometimes she will nip people and animals to get them to move. She can be shy and skittish when she meets a new person. However, with a little space, love, and food she typically warms up quickly. Ruby is a fan of belly rubs and treats, especially bananas. |
