Tigger is a therapy animal for a person with a rare disease. He also has medical problems of his own (see below), so it is vital that anyone who finds him contacts me immediately! He is 7 years old, and goes by the name Tigger, but also responds to Roo-Roo, and King T. He may hiss, bite, or scratch if he is afraid or agitated! Please note this is NOT his normal personality, he is NOT a dangerous animal. If he does bite, scratch, or hiss at you note that he is up to date on all his shots, vetted regularly, and has no parasites. Tigger knows how to sit on command, but he may not listen if he is scared. If he is calm, he is okay with being around kids (so long as they do not chase him or try to pet him, if they do he will hiss...it is best to leave him alone, he will not attack unless provoked), and he is not good with other animals (he is not aggressive, but he becomes fearful around bigger dogs, etc). He is very smart, and may figure out places to hide. If you want to calm him, offer him a treat by saying in a high pitched voice "Tigger want a treat? Come get a treat" and offer him a treat if you have one. Again PLEASE contact us immediately as his health is at stake!
