Have you found Garda?
Garda is a retired Military Working Dog from the United States Air Force. She also recently passed the Canine Good Citizen Test and just started Therapy Dog Training, so she is very smart and well-trained. HOWEVER, GARDA IS NOT FRIENDLY WITH OTHER DOGS. PLEASE KEEP HER AWAY FROM OTHER DOGS. Garda does love treats and people. She especially loves kids and will lean against you while you are petting her. She knows a lot of commands but the most important ones to know are Come (Here), Heel, Stay, Wait, Sit, (Lay) Down, Leave It, Take It, etc.

More about Garda
Comes To | Baby Voices, Treats, and Hand Clapping/Snapping |
Breed | Belgian Malinois - Black and Brown |
Commands | Come, Heel, Stay/Wait, Sit, Down, Leave It, Take It, etc. |
Medical Conditions | Arthritis - Currently takes Gabapentin and Trazodone |
Special Instructions | Garda has arthritis which causes her to sit on her side instead of straight up-and-down/vertically. She does not act like she has arthritis and she will continue to run and play until she is limping. Garda often needs to be reminded of her old age (7) and told to lay down and rest when this happens, otherwise she will continue until injury or unconsciousness. This is because of the Military Working Dog training she had, so if you find her roaming and see this, please call her to you with the "Come" command and have her lay down with the "Down" command. She will let you touch her as long as she can sniff you first, and you should be able to read her tag to contact me. |
