Echo is well-trained but she is part Portuguese Pedengo, which means she can act like a wild dog. She can be mouthy, but will not bite unless she feels threatened. A strong "no bite" prior to putting your hands on her will do the trick. Echo knows many common commands by voice and hand signal. She is extremely fast so please do not chase or scare her. If you sit on the ground with some cheese and call her, she should come to you.
