Add in dry z/d food and let soak for just 3 minutes or so but dont. let dry food get completely soggy. The insulin needs the dry food to stabilize her sugars and not send her into hypoglycemia. 54 Grams dry z/d , 67 Grams wet z/d twice a day 6:30am and 6:30pm. 7units Vetsulin after eating AND checking if blood levels are at a safe 200. Kona needs 20-25 Grams of 99% lean cooked ground turkey every afternoon between 12:30-1pm. She will vomit bile otherwise. Has to be 99% lean or she gets colitis and pancreatitis very quickly. Cerenia, metronizadole, tacrolimus and lubricant eye drops are her meds. Give metronidazole at first sight of diarrhea twice a day. Please send me my daughter back. Shes been my service dog for years prior to her own medical needs. We need each other to survive. |
