After verifying you are with Luzianne, your message will be instantly sent to the right people for a safe return.
Luzianne will be 2 years old in January 2015. She is very sweet in her disposition, but also very loyal and intelligent, so tends to be nervous of new people, particularly men, whom she might growl or bark at anxiously.

She is very high energy and is a very fast runner. She has a tendency to pull on a leash, and is very strong so shouldn't be handled solely by children or someone of limited movement and ability, but understands when you tell her not to pull. Don't pull back when she pulls because she will just pull back harder. She's not fighting with you, she just regards it as an obstacle she has to overcome that isn't entirely associated with the person walking her. She is microchipped, current on all of her shots.

She is great with basic commands, such as sit, stay, down, etc. She can get along with cats, but will chase them if they run from her. I've never seen her aggressive towards any of my cats- if anything, she can be slightly afraid of them and their reaction to her. Among dogs, she is not dominant and not beta, either, so care needs to be taken if she is around dogs that are excitable, or puppies- they may agitate her and she can become nippy. Calmer or older dogs shouldn't present any problems with her. NOTE: Luzianne is VERY vocal with other dogs, which can come across as threatening. I've seen her with dogs who irritate her, and she can become nippy, but I've never seen her the aggressor and pursue any other dogs.

She will probably not want to play while in a strange place. When I first saw her at the Humane Society, I thought she had a lot of Boston Terrier in her, because with fear and anxiety, her eyes became so big that she looked like a totally different dog.
