Echo

Echo was rescued just after my brother passed away. The woman he was rescued from was keeping 13 dogs in a van and threatened to kill the puppies if the rescue didn't take them in. Needless to say, they did! I volunteer every day with said rescue, either from home or at the facility, and I happened to be there the day they went up for foster. Echo caught my eye, and I couldn't let him go, despite already having a large dog in my small apartment. A week after my brother's funeral, I officially adopted him. It was meant to be, and I wouldn't allow someone else to take my baby. This tag seemed very appropriate, when you consider how much Echo aided my emotional healing. I rescued him from from a dangerous, potentially life threatening situation, he rescued me from myself.
