On August 2, 2010 Harrison Forbes of Pet Talk introduced Virtual Leash to a national audience on the Regis and Kelly Live show as part of a "traveling with your pets" segment. If you haven't heard of Harrison Forbes he's very active in the pet community and has recently released a book called "Dog Talk" that chronicles his long history of working with dogs.
On the show Harrison talks about the benefits of Virtual Leash, which was conceived of and developed by Dog Tag Art, and how it is especially useful to pet owners that travel frequently. With Virtual Leash pet owners have increased safety due to instant syndication of an "I found your pet" message through multiple channels including text messaging. The Google Map is also quite handy.
